The Huntsman Cocktail is March 27th Drink of the Day!!

Here is a Drink of the Day recipe that is easy to make and not much more than the combination of the liquor itself. A nice combination of vodka and amber rum, with just a touch of simple syrup and lime juice to round out the flavor, is a perfect cocktail for those who want to warm up inside and get where they want to be.

To prepare this is nice and simple. With the amount of mixers in this, you will be surprised on how smooth it is. No, it’s not your typical fruit drink, masking the flavor of the spirits. However, the rough edges of the liquor are smoothed out enough for you to enjoy the other attributes the liquor has to offer. Enjoy!

Huntsman Cocktail

1 1/2 oz. Vodka

3/4 oz. Amber Rum

1/2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

1/2 oz. Simple Syrup

Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in all the ingredients to measure. Cap off with a tin shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a nicely chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime half-wheel.
