To go with the theme I had with the Drink of the Day yesterday, this cocktail has just a minimal amount of secondary mixes to help enhance and compliment the flavor of the main ingredient, which in this case is rum. I do have to say, however, that the mixers that are involved in this tend to override a cocktail when used to the extreme anyway, so you will still have enough for the addition of them at any level will make a difference.

The Jade cocktail is a very aromatic and smooth drink that will make a great aperitif to any meal. A great social sipper as well. Since you have the rum out for those tiki beverages, why not show you a mixed beverage that you can have using it as a sophisticated option. Hope you enjoy!

1/2 Tsp. Green Creme de Menthe

1/2 Tsp. Triple Sec
