The Last Word is May 19th Drink of the Day!!
Pre-Prohibition cocktails are becoming popular again due to the craft cocktail movement that has been sweeping the country. Originally made at the Detroit Athletic Club in the 1920’s, it has seen a renewed interest after almost disappearing from the bar scene completely. It now has a very popular fan base in the Northwest and it even made the 2009 Mr. Boston’s Bartender’s Guide.
Every ingredient shares the stage. There is no lead act. Equal parts of each gives you a nice and rounded cocktail that will impress you with it’s aroma just as much as its unique flavor. A must try when wanting to venture out and try something new. I hope you enjoy!
