This is the third year we have been in existence, and the first where I am not going to share the Bloody Mary recipe with you on New Year’s Day. My goal this year is to be able to give you 365 drinks to test out for your pleasure, so for me to do so wouldn’t have given me this opportunity.

Usually on the first day of the year, you are trying to get back to normal after the long night of bringing in the new calender. So, to give you something that isn’t only refreshing, but easy to make as well, was important. The Maraca fits this description. With the added ingredient of pineapple, you are also replenishing your body with some much needed nutrients to go along with the hair-of-the-dog.

This is a very eye-catching cocktail. The way I am going to show you how to make this is how to make it an “up” cocktail. You can also prepare this beverage on-the-rocks. As I always say: You are the one enjoying the beverage. Prepare it the way you want it. I am only giving you a foundation to build on.

Happy New Year!!! Hope this year is full of prosperity and good health to you and yours. maraca
