Miami Cocktail
2 oz. White Rum
1 oz. Cointreau
Juice of Half Lemon
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in the measured ingredients of rum, cointreau, and simple syrup. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, throwing away the remnants of the lemon afterward. Cap off with a tin and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Take a peal of lemon and twist it over the glass, allowing the oils of the rind disperse on top of the drink. Rub it along the rim of the cocktail glass before dropping it into the drink.
