Ginger ale is such a refreshing carbonated beverage and is a great wash for a cocktail. The proof of that is in the cocktail we selected for the Drink of the Day today. A nice combination of fresh citrus to go with the ginger ale, with the main ingredient - gin playing a nice leading role in the finished product.

Refreshment will be key in the coming months of heat and humidity. This should do the trick for all you gin imbibers out there.

Orange Buck Cocktail

1 1/2 oz. Gin

1 oz. Orange Juice

1 Tbsp. Lime Juice

Ginger Ale

Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour the first three ingredients to measure. Cap off with a tin and shake to blend the ingredients. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top off with ginger ale. Add a straw and serve.
