Drink of the Day: Parallel Universe
Here’s a cocktail that uses equal parts of each of it’s ingredients to give you a very enjoyable beverage. The rum and cointreau compliment the grapefruit juice well, giving you a cocktail that fits perfectly for a Thursday evening, hence the reason for making this the Drink of the Day for today.
Most rum drinks tend to concentrate too much on hiding the spirit. With this one, each ingredient tends to work well with one another to give you a great experience while imbibing. Enjoy this delightful beverage. Cheers!
1 oz. Light Rum
1 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Grapefruit Juice
Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, add equal parts of all the ingredients. Cap off with a tin and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange wheel.
