Perestroika: Russian Spy Concept bar launches aggressive crowd fund-raising campaign tonight!
In the growing town of Boise, Idaho, David Thompson has a vision. When he first talked with me about this and how he wanted to go about raising money to make this concept a reality, I had my doubts that he could pull this off. This was almost one year ago. Now, after building a fan base on Facebook and getting some interest with local businesses and news publications, I think he has a shot at seeing this become a reality.
I was asked by David to come up with the craft cocktails he would like to showcase on his bar menu about one year ago. Since then, I have been given the freedom to introduce the Drink of the Day to his followers and to throw in my two cents from time to time. David has been very aggressive with this and has a great vision. Helping him with this vision is his background as an architect. If, or I should say when, he is successful with this crowd fund-raising, he will have himself the finest bar of its kind in the United States. It will be very easy for you to be part of this.

Every dollar gets this concept closer to becoming a reality. I will share some of what to expect in regards to recipes for the bar menu. Karie Engels of www.YourHomeWithKarieEngels.com will be collaborating with me to come up with some Russian-Themed appetizers and entrees that will coincide with the cocktails, as well as wines and beers. If the crowd fundraising is successful, Karie and I will also be putting together the most elite crew to give the customers only the best service, food and drinks available.
