Hard to believe we are already into the second week of June. Man, how fast time goes nowadays…

Here’s a great summer quencher that will go great during your next Caribbean-themed party. A perfect rum beverage that fits right into the heat of the summer. Three fruit juices give you that tropical feel that only puts an exclamation point on the event itself. A natural and healthy way to enjoy your favorite spirit.

We are coming into the dog days of summer rather quickly. It’s time to hone in on some of those tiki rum beverages to get your game on. This one will get you started on the right foot. Cheers!

 

All Plucked Up

1 oz. Anejo Rum

1 oz. Coconut Rum

Splash of Grenadine

1/2 oz. Lime Juice

2 oz. Pineapple Juice

2 oz. Orange Juice

 

Method: In a mixing glass with ice, pour in the ingredients to measure. Shake to blend the ingredients. Strain into a hurricane glass filled with ice. Garnish with a half-wheel of orange.
