Sometimes, it’s the simple things in life that are the most worthwhile. Some of you will agree when tasting this easy-to-make cocktail. A drink built in a highball glass, this tequila based cocktail will take you less time then what it takes me to type up this sentence. But, then again, you haven’t seen how I type and that could be a long time. However, I am glad to say that this is not the case.

Tequila is a great base for many cocktails and I feel gets short changed when creating drinks. If you balance everything nicely in any mixed drink, you will be surprised on how well everything works together. This is no different than what I’ve chosen as today’s Drink of the Day. Be sure to enjoy! Cheers!PUERTO ESCONDITO

3/4 oz. Triple Sec

Pineapple Juice

Method: Build this cocktail in a highball glass by pouring in the measured amounts of the first two ingredients. Top off with pineapple juice. Garnish with an orange wedge on the rim of the glass.
