There are some great gin based beverages out there and this one is one of them. Combining with the flavor of white rum and triple sec, and adding a little grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and simple syrup, this is a nice and refreshing cocktail you can enjoy at poolside.

We are only weeks away from the thaw of spring. Baseball season has begun, the buds on the trees are beginning to show, and I’m getting antsy for a good outdoor party. This may be the cocktail you make yourself to plan your first one of the season. If so, be ready to be surprised on all this mixed drink offers in regards to flavor. Cheers!

San Sebastian

1 1/4 oz. Gin

1/2 oz. White Rum

1/2 oz. Triple Sec

Juice from 1/2 lemon

1/2 oz. Grapefruit Juice

Method: In a mixing glass with ice, pour in the first three ingredients to measure. Squeeze in the juice from half a lemon, discarding the remnants. Add the grapefruit juice. Cap off with a tin, then shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. If you want to give your cocktail some color, drop a maraschino cherry into the drink.
