The Seaboard is May 10th Drink of the Day!!

Here’s a great gin/whiskey combination you can enjoy after finishing all those household chores. The aroma of the mint will bring everything together. A perfect sipper to enjoy while celebrating the fact that you got all those chores completed.

There’s not much to this cocktail. The lemon juice and simple syrup are added enough to smooth out the flavor of the liquors, while the sprig of mint added as a garnish gives it the aromatic touch. Enjoy your post-chore treat this Saturday with our introduction to this Drink of the Day!

Seaboard

1 oz. Gin

1 oz. Whiskey (preferably a good mixing Canadian blend)

1/2 oz. Simple Syrup

Juice of 1/2 a Lemon

Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in the first three ingredients to measure. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, discarding the remnants after doing so. Cap with a shaker tin and shake just enough to blend the ingredients. Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
