Here’s a fruity cream drink for you that will be a hit for the late night. A nice soothing cocktail that will be sure to put you in the right frame of mind and help you end the day on the right note. To lighten the body of this, use milk instead of cream to lighten it up a little.
The reason for the name of this drink is due to its base liquor, vodka. Sputnik is the name of the first artificial satellite that was launched into space by the Soviet Union in 1957. With the creamy, out of this world flavor you get drinking one of these, the name makes perfect sense. I hope you enjoy!
Sputnik Cocktail
1 1/2 oz. Vodka
3/4 oz. Peach Schnapps
Cream or Milk
Orange Juice
Method: Build this cocktail in a highball glass by first adding the measured ingredients of vodka and peach schnapps. Top off with equal parts of cream and orange juice. Stir and serve.
