The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina, was established in 1842 and has prided itself on keeping to its core values and strict dicipline. Up until this day in 1997, it was an all-male school. The courts ruled in favor for allowing women cadets to enter the school if they met the standards of the school. To keep with the shot theme for the third consecutive day, I found one that is rather interesting. It’s a flaming shot by design, but you don’t need to have it that way. The combination of the melon and schnapps is surprisingly smooth and the flavor was not as complicated as I expected. To make this a drink that you don’t have to light, just delete the 151 rum completely from the recipe.
