This will be an easy one to remember because of the name. Most of you have read the novel by Harper Lee called, “To Kill a Mockingbird”. Well, that will make the name of this cocktail a little easier to remember. With the green hue, this could be another one that you can add to your St. Patrick’s Day arsenal. Another bonus to this one is that there are only three ingredients for this, making for easy preparation.

Tequila is a great mixer due to its flavor on its own. Just adding the mint and citrus notes seems to awaken the back end flavor of this spiri. You will have to make yourself another once you finish the first. I will leave this completely up to you.

Tequila Mockingbird

2 oz. Tequila Blano

3/4 oz. Green Creme de Menthe

1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in all the ingredients to measure. Cap off with a tin and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
