With winter in full swing, I feel a beverage like this will warm you inside and out. Let’s venture a little further than your typical hot toddy and get into something with a little more attitude!
Named after the prized breed of cattle, this drink will not dissatisfy. Be sure to use a scotch that has its own characterisics, such as high peat content, to get the most out of it. Though many scotch enthusiasts may disagree, I’m one that believes you sometimes get more out of the flavor of the whisky if you add things to bring it to utopian levels. This is surely a cocktail that does just that!

The Aberdeen Angus
2 oz. Scotch Whisky
1 oz. Drambuie
1/2 oz. Honey Syrup
Juice of 1/2 Lime

Method:

In a brandy snifter, put in the scotch whisky, lime juice, and honey syrup and stir. Warm Drambuie then ignite, pouring it into the mug with the mixture still aflame. Stir once, then serve!
