The Black Dahlia Martini is March 13th Drink of the Day!!
In Los Angeles, in 1947, Elizabeth Short, dubbed the “Black Dahlia”, was found mutilated in Leiment Park in Los Angeles. Her body was sliced in half at the waist. To this day, this is one of the most popular cold cases in LA. In fact, a movie was made in 2006 that talked about this murder. There have been many twist and turns in finding the person responsible for this murder. Yet, most of these have turned out to be dead-ends.
A drink has been named after this grusome murder in Los Angeles that’s just as popular as the case itself. Don’t let the story behind the name of this cocktail steer you away from trying it. You’ll enjoy it from beginning to end.
