On this day in 1992, U.S. President George Bush (the senior one) and Boris Yeltsin, the President of Russia, signed an agreement in principle that would end decades of the “Cold War” between the two countries. A great side-note is that this is also the day Mr. Yeltsin celebrated his birthday!

In remembrance of this special day, I would like to introduce to you a drink named after the days of fighting between the East and West. Happy Birthday, Boris!

The Cold War Cocktail
1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Jagermeister
1 oz. Sweet and Sour
Red Bull Energy Drink

Method: In a pint glass filled with ice, pour in the vodka, Jagermeister, and sweet and sour. Top off the glass with Red Bull. You can either shake this slightly to combine the ingredients or leave it as is and enjoy it through a straw.
