The Dark n’ Stormy is September 17th Drink of the Day!!

I couldn’t really find a drink to match with the history of the day, so I figured I would introduce one to you that has been around for a while, but not really heard about in the United States. It is common in other areas of the world, such as Burmuda and Australia. Once you get a taste of it, it will surely become a favorite for you.
The change of seasons is right on us, so we will be seeing many nights where we will probably want to stay inside. This mixture will be sure to relax you as you’re riding out the bad weather. Why not a Dark n’ Stormy during a dark and stormy night….right?

Dark n’ Stormy
Ginger Beer
2 oz. Dark Rum
1 Wedge of Lime for Garnish

Method: Begin by filling a highball glass with ice. Pour ginger beer to about an one and one half inches from the rim. Top off with dark rum. Garnish by squeezing in a wedge of lime, then drop it into the drink. Straw and serve.
