The Mellow Yellow is February 7th Drink of the Day!!
In my opinion, Galliano has become the forgotten liqueur at most bars. You don’t see it being used in too many concoctions nowadays, which is a shame. This liqueur seems to be a great blend when you give it a chance. Galliano has been around since the late 1890s. It’s a vanilla infused anise/herbal liqueur which there is nothing like. The two drinks that always come to mind when I think about Galliano are the Harvey Wallbanger and the original Lemon Drop shooter,(which if you haven’t had you haven’t had a true Lemon Drop shooter!).
Well, here’s another cocktail you can add to the list that uses this fine ingredient. It will also probably end up being one of your favorite. This drink is a great afternoon relaxer while enjoying a summer day or a nice introduction to a new drink with friends. It will surely not disappoint, with its complexity of flavors dancing on your taste buds with every sip. Enjoy!!
3/4 oz. White Rum
3/4 oz.. Cointreau
3/4 oz. Galliano
Juice of 1/2 lime
Orange Juice
Pineapple Juice
Method: Pour in the equal parts of rum, Cointreau, and Galliano into a highball glass with ice. Squeeze a half a lime into the glass, then add equal parts of orange juice and pineapple juice to finish off the drink. Shake well, then strain into a new highball glass with ice.

I think you might be heading for an episode of ‘Bar Rescue’ as you’re taking too many steps to fetch another glass!
Making this one for CINCHOUSE tonight.
BTW: Looked like you were neglecting the customer at the bar, too
LOL…we do about 15 of these videos at one time and I have this bad habit of forgetting things to set up for for the next drink. The poor girl at the bar was taste tester for the day. Let’s just say that just two sips of fifteen drinks can be a lot of booze. She was feeling no pain by the time we got done.
My wife will taste test for the next shoot if you want!
