Ah, yes. This was my favorite shooter back in eighties, when I was young and had yet to have a grasp on my limits on drinking. The cool thing about this shooter is that it doesn’t have to be one. You can just sip this while mingling with friends. For, you see, this is a unique shooter because it isn’t really made to look like one. This cocktail / shooter comes on the rocks, so you have a choice on how you want to handle this beverage. Now, I will say the reason for me downing these as quickly as possible is because of the taste not really meeting my standards. Being young when drinking these, I was only interested in the effect.

Keep in mind, if you are doing this drink as a shooter, be sure to know your limits and don’t drink and drive! If you want to have fun with these, have a designated driver or enough money for a cab for the ride home. Cheers!

Mind Eraser

1 oz. Coffee Liqueur

1 oz. Vodka

Soda Water

Method: Build this in an old fashioned glass filled with ice by first adding the coffee liqueur. Add the vodka, then top off with soda water.

If you are drinking this as a shooter: Do not stir. Just place a big drinking straw into the drink and suck it down.

If you are drinking this as a cocktail: Put in a couple stir sticks and stir well.
