A Sloe Comfortable Screw Against the Wall is January 2nd Drink of the Day
One thing you come to realize when working behind the bar is that there are many drinks out there named things that would get you slapped upside the head if you were to say the names of them in any other environment. This would be one of those drinks.
The reason for the name is that it’s a screwdriver with galliano (harvey wallbanger), then throwing in some Southern Comfort for good measure. Who says you have to bring it down a notch after the holidays? Just be sure to know your limit with these, or you may find yourself getting screwed.
Sloe Comfortable Screw Against the Wall
1 1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz. Southern Comfort
Splash of Galliano
Orange Juice
Method: Begin by pouring the vodka and southern comfort into a highball glass full of ice. Pour in the orange juice to about 1/2″ from the top of the glass. Add a splash of galliano.
