This drink is for you whiskey fans out there who want to be a little lighter than the typical whiskey on the rocks or neat. It gives you something to sip on without missing out on the key element of the drink. You are not hiding the fact that you have some liquor in your beverage, yet you want to tone it down while adding a little more substance to the overall experience, this cocktail will give you all of that and a little more.

This has been a very common mixed drink for the last few generations of imbibers. It’s an easy make for you home entertainers. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

1 1/2 oz. Bourbon Whiskey

Soda Water

Ginger Ale

Method: Fill a highball glass with ice. Begin by pouring the bourbon to measure, then add equal parts of the soda and ginger ale to top off the drink. Add a twist of lemon for garnish.
