The Roller Coaster Cocktail is February 5th Drink of the Day!

Roller coasters have always thrilled me. I’m lucky enough to say I live less than an hour away from the best roller coaster park in the world, Cedar Point. But, without the inventions and patents of times past, we would probably not have the designs we have today. One of those patents is that of the Loop-the-Loop design.

Ed Prescott patented this design, looking to replace the “Flip Flap” loop design that had been around for about fifteen years. Due to neck and back injuries, Mr. Prescott came up with the teardrop style loop that we see today. It eased you into the loop more, causing less injury.

The drink I’m introducing is easy to make. With the almond / grapefruit combination hitting your taste buds, you will surely make this a quick-to-make favorite.

The Roller Coaster Cocktail
