On this date in 1964, Jack Rudy was found guity of the murder of Lee Harvey Oswalt. Though it is up in the air as to what actually transpired through the days leading up to Mr. Rudy getting killed on the way to court is, and will always be, unknown to us. I’ve always found it fascinating the chain of events that transpired from President Kennedy’s assassination.

This cocktail probably has nothing to do with Jack Ruby. However, I needed a drink to be part of this day, so, why not choose something that is at least close by name.

The Ruby Cocktail
2 oz. Gin
1 oz. Applejack Brandy
3 Dashes Grenadine

Method: Pour ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass.
