The Schoolhouse Cocktail is June 5th Drink of the Day!!

We are getting into the seasonal heat and there are flavored beers coming out of the woodwork. Today, we are going to show you how to make one that’s not only simple to make, but just as satisfying to drink. If just a beer isn’t going to do it for you, this will do the trick. A perfect time to introduce this as the Drink of the Day.

When making this I mentioned that using a lighter, American Pilsner beer, was the way to go. However, I need to stress that YOU will be the one drinking it. That was only my opinion. Try out some things that may satisfy your taste buds more than mine. So, without further ado, let’s get on with the recipe.

 

Schoolhouse Cocktail

A 3/4 Pint of Beer of your Choice

2 - 3 oz. Orange Juice

1 1/2 oz. Amaretto

 

Method: In a pint glass, fill the beer to about 3/4. Add the orange juice, then the amaretto. Stir and serve.
