The Algonquin Cocktail is March 9th Drink of the Day!!

Here’s another Pre-Prohibition Cocktail worthy of print. It’s named after the Algonquin Hotel which is known for its “Algonquin Roundtable Lunches”, where beginning in 1917 and going daily for over ten years, a group of writers, actors, musicians, and some noted politicians would meet and gossip about current events during lunch.
