The Exxon Valdez Shooter is March 24th Drink of the Day!!

On this day, in 1989, the Exxon Valdez ran aground on Bligh Reef, in Prince William Sound, Alaska. It is estimated that over eleven million gallons of oil were spilled into the sound, eventually covering over 1000 miles of coastland. It is also estimated that millions of land and sea creatures were killed, with over 300,000 birds being lost due to this spill.
