I had the honor and privilege of coming up with the first signature cocktails for what has become one of my favorite hang-outs in Akron, Ohio: Jilly’s Music Room. The cocktail that I am sharing with you today is one that is still on the menu. The recipe has changed somewhat, as many other cocktails have. But, since I am the one responsible with the original recipe, that will be the one I’ll be sharing with you today.
If you are ever in my part of the world, I highly recommend this place to visit. Always live entertainment, of course fine drinks, and some of the best gluten-free tapas in North America! Most of the bands that Jill employs are up and coming original music groups that entrench many genres. I enjoy hearing the artistic sounds of originality and look forward to hearing someone and something I have never heard of before every time I set foot there. Plus, on occasion, you may see me behind the bar from time to time.
An enjoyable, festive libation that fits the season well. Tropical, yet warming, this cocktail will have you singing your own tune in no time. Just remember, timing is everything. Be safe and play responsibly! Cheers!
