Happy Labor Day!
Hope all of you have enjoyed this weekend. To put an exclamation point on it on my end, here’s a great cocktail that attracted me due to it’s name. Why it is called this is beyond my comprehension. But, this creamy beverage is the perfect relaxer to enjoy before going back to the everyday grind.
Yes, we are going back to our routines tomorrow. The kids are back in school and we are putting our time in at work to pay the bills and get ahead. We are now into September as this year seems to be flying by at a record rate. Seems just like yesterday that we were celebrating the New Year and we are already in the ninth month of it. Let’s slow it down by enjoying a couple of these.
Here’s to starting your week off on a good note. Cheers!
1 oz. Coconut Rum
1 oz. Amaretto
Method: Build this in an old fashioned glass filled with ice by first pouring in the rum and amaretto to measure. Top off with equal parts of orange juice and cream. Stir and serve.
