Mmmm, coffee sounds refreshing on a cool and autumn evening. Adding a little life to it sounds even better.
The cocktail I am introducing today can be made two ways: First, in the video, I add equal parts of Amaretto, Kahlua, and Chambord in the Irish coffee mug, then pour in the coffee. Or, the way I will share with you now kind of introduces the Chambord a little at a time by pouring it on top of the whipped cream. Either way, you have a tasty treat that will warm your insides and put a big smile on your face.
Hope your Thursday is treating you well. Hopefully, this will round it out your day nicely. Cheers!
3/4 oz. Amaretto
3/4 oz. Kahlua
3/4 oz. Chambord
Method: Pour the first two ingredients in an Irish coffee mug to measure. Fill with coffee, leaving about a 1/2 inch of space to the rim. Take two stir sticks and lay them across the rim of the mug, creating a “v”. Hold the straws in place where the straws connect while adding the whipped cream. Lightly pour the Chambord on top of the whipped cream, trying to keep the whipped cream from drooping in the process.
