Drink of the Day: Coco Poco

October 1, 2015 | By |

Wow, October is here!  Unbelievable how fast this year is going.

I woke up this morning not wanting to get out of bed due to the comfort of the temperature and lack of humidity.  A perfect autumn day for us here in the Midwest.  This cocktail will make a nice nightcap tonight, so I can get a jump on a great night’s sleep.   The three ingredients all play important roles.  Just make sure to taking your time sipping on it due to it being nothing but liquor.  The coconut and coffee flavors does well in masking the bite somewhat, but you will definitely want to take your time to enjoy the many layers of flavor this cocktail has to offer.  To give it a little more character and round out the overall experience, a twist of orange rubbed on the rim of the glass, then dropped in will add an aromatic element that will blend well with the overall characteristics of this beverage.

Enjoy your day!  Hope your October is getting off to a good start.  Here’s something I’m sure will be sure to start it off in the right direction.  Cheers!
