A very good Friday to one and all! Don’t know about you, but I am ready for the weekend. Yes, I work on Saturday. But, Friday and Saturday nights to me bring in people who are more relaxed and wanting to enjoy their time off. Their excitement seems to rub off on me. Nothing like putting an exclamation point on their weekend by showing giving them some fine food and drink, along with some excellent service.
One cocktail that will set the mood is the whiskey cocktail I want to introduce to you today. The slight touch of peppermint and chocolate, to go along with the flavor of your favorite whiskey, will assist you in settling in for the two days of “me” time. Ah, nothing like hitting the right notes, (pun very intended), on having a stellar weekend.
Hope the start of your Friday is going well. If not and you need a little nudge, here’s a Cold Kiss to get it going. Cheers, my friends!
1 1/2 oz. Whiskey (use a brand that you enjoy)
1/2 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
1/2 oz. White (clear) Creme de Cacao
Method: Build this in an old fashioned glass filled with ice, adding all the ingredients to measure. Stir and serve!
