Here’s another sipper for you for today. A nice combination cocktail that is surprisingly smooth, considering that it is mostly liquor. However, the lime juice and sour mix do a very good job taking the bite out of the booze and bring out the attributes each ingredient has to offer. This is surely one you will want to take your time enjoying.
Tequila and rum are on the main stage in this beverage. The rum seems to do a great job of taming the tequila, while the triple sec brings both of them together nicely. Adding only a splash of lime juice and sour mix and you have yourself today’s Drink of the Day. A perfect introduction to a mid-week gathering. Have a great Wednesday!
1 1/2 oz. Tequila
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
1/2 oz. White Rum
Splash Sour Mix
Splash Fresh Lime Juice
Method: In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in the ingredients to measure. Cap with a tin and shake well. Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime half-wheel on the rim of the glass.
