One great thing about doing this blog are the great people you get to meet while doing it. I had the opportunity to have a couple cocktails with Ami Jenkins and her husband, Eric, last night. They flew in from New Orleans to visit with their son, who happens to be a minor league umpire and was working a series here in Akron, Ohio. This Drink of the Day goes out to them. Thanks for taking a couple hours out of your schedule to meet up with me!
As most of you know, I find most of the cocktails I use on here, via internet and bar books. This is one of those, so I don’t really know why this is named after the Big Easy. I do know, however, that this is one refreshing beverage and will go down nicely on a hot summer’s day. A perfect treat for those who are fighting the humidity.
Enjoy your day. Make it a great one with a good state of mind and even better attitude. Cheers!
